Bashkesia Islame ne Maqedoni dhe autoritetet e rendit thone se ne vend jane te pranishme grupe radikale islamike por se ato nuk paraqesin ndonje rrezik per momentin. Kryetari i Bashkesise Islame Sulejman Rexhepi i cili grupet e tilla i cileson si levizje politike-selefiste apo vehabiste thote se ato nuk gjejne perkrahje tek besimtaret muslimane ne Maqedoni. Aktualisht te gjitha xhamite ne Maqedoni jane nen kontrollin e Bashkesise Islame.
